Pittsburgh Superstars Come Together for #stayhomepgh Video Message

April 3, 2020, Pittsburgh, PA: Today, the Vault Recording Studio released #stayhomepgh with close to one hundred Pittsburgh Celebrities. Set to the track of “We Will Rock You,” the Queen megahit, Pittsburghers are encouraged to stay home to keep their families, friends and themselves safe and healthy.

“We wanted to get people together virtually to thank frontline workers and to help spread the message that staying home can and will save lives.”  Bob McCutcheon, owner of Pittsburgh-based The Vault Recording Studio. “I was on a Zoom call with Chris Wu (a Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra Musician) and started talking about the real need of protecting our communities. Chris’s wife is a healthcare professional.”

That’s when McCutcheon enlisted friends Michele Rosenthal, Brett Keisel, Flying Scooter Productions and On Motion Media to help to get the word out.

“Bob & I were on the phone with Michele, who has worked closely with a number of public officials, and she reiterated everyone’s concern that we knew we needed to help people understand the seriousness of social distancing and self-sheltering.” Explained Chris Wu.

“Everyone was so quick to respond and happy to help. That commitment is the heart of Pittsburgh.” said McCutcheon.

The length is just over a minute, with some very familiar faces from the Pittsburgh sports, music, film, arts, news and government communities, thanking healthcare and frontline workers for their commitment to keeping us safe. WE SHOULD ALL #stayhomepgh.
