Supporting Our Community
How The Pittsburgh Music Community Came Together to Support Each Other During a Time of Crisis
The year 2020 will certainly be one to be remembered for generations. With COVID-19 essentially shutting down music venues, musicians and artist learned to adapt to a new normal. And while there were no lack of challenges during the year, there were also some inspirational moments that brought us together to donate, celebrate and thank those who sacrifice for others every day. Here are some highlights from 2020.
North Allegheny “Senior Song” Project
Recorded at The Vault Recording Studio and Produced by David Schmeich, this heartwarming medley, arranged by NA Alum Jack Lopuszynski, is a great reflection of the spirit and perseverance of a very special class of graduates. During the unprecedented circumstances of the COVID-19 Pandemic, each student recorded their performance individually over the course of an entire weekend.
